those who are able to visit the studio
in Toronto, Canada. A made to measure corset is suggested
for those who have special fitting concerns. Lovesick made
to measure corsets are drafted from a extensive range of measurements.
A personal fitting garment is used to scrutinize the fit of
the corset, which also assists the client to visualize the
completed corset.

cannot visit the studio in person may be considered as custom
clientele pending an interview. It is my experience that persons
fitting themselves will have an adequately fitting garment,
but an in-person fitting is the superior method, especially
when there are more complex fitting issues. Certain conditions

The only difference between our made to
made to measure corsets and our standard sized line is that
the custom made corset has been drafted to fit an individual,
and personally checked by someone who has been fitting corsets
since 1994. Identical materials and construction methods
are used for all corsets. The higher price of a custom made
corset reflects the individual attention this requires.
Custom variations of off the rack styles
in standard sizes are also available. If you don’t
see it, ask for a quote.
A Note About Bridal Requests: Please note that Lovesick prefers to not accept bridal projects. On a personal level I feel dismay that extravagant fantasy weddings are heavily marketed to women, with little emphasis on the actual marriage. I am also reluctant to support the social and religious construction of marriage.
